Back to the Present

I need to get back on the post train, cause I feel like a lazy bum. What have I been up to? Work work work, except Friday when Travis went back to Mt. Lebanon for a whole ten hours and I was his travel partner. I would write about Dean's Diner where we had breakfast, but he's already writing a Travels post about it and it seems a bit redundant.

However, I must mention the delicious blueberry pie I got for breakfast. This thing had enough sugar to last me until August.

Pittsburgh was looking good in the sunset.

Reflection from off of the Mini Cooper.

While walking to work the other day, I stopped and saw ... a horse-drawn carriage. It turned left onto College and at first I thought it was for Amish people but then it seemed more like newlyweds. We don't really have Amish round these parts.

This made me stop in the parking lot behind Pollock Commons and stare for a good five minutes. I knew it was a vanity plate, but could not for the life of me figure out what it was trying to say. Answer: touch of gray. Question: what has a touch of gray?

Obviously, it isn't the car because it has a lot more than just a touch of gray. Maybe the owner's hair has a touch of gray? This doesn't seem like a midlife crisis kind of car, though.

I'm just going to go through my camera card and see what was worth taking pictures of lately. Check out these delicious-looking brownies. They would have tasted more delicious had vegetable oil been available. I had to make do with applesauce, which is not the same.

This is my current desktop background, which will soon have to change or else I'm going to be craving chocolate nonstop.

Anyone have a longing to see more bees on flowers? I know you do.

Look at me, posting like a fool. This goes way back until last Thursday; that's how slack I've gotten. But who can be angry when there are pictures of kittens involved?

"Touch of Grey" is a Grateful Dead song, dude. Apparently old Deadheads drive Saabs.

Totally didn't get the reference, because I am an unhip square.
