We Lost, Oh Well
So thanks to Alex's benevolent roommate, I was able to go to the Steelers game today! I believe that this was the first time I've actually watched an entire game.
Check out these lines! I was patted down briefly by a bored-looking attendant but she did not catch the bag of jellybeans that I had squirreled away in one of my multiple sock layers.
Speaking of multiple layers, I must describe my outfit as I was equipped for a blizzard: tights, under my jeans, with not one but two thick socks. Sneakers, and an UnderArmor top, with a waffle-pattern thermal long sleeved shirt. Then I wore a turtleneck as well as a large Steelers hoodie. Along with that came the requisite hat and gloves. And do you know, all of those layers were necessary. At times I even wished for a blanket.First time in Heinz Field, woooo! There were a little over 64,000 people there and it seemed like a lot but then I remembered that Penn State's stadium held like, twice that.
We were on the Colts' side. They looked like Smurfs.
Oh, I wore a little twee hat because it was so cold! It even had a pompon on top because I'm seven years old.
We stopped by Mt. Washington for a little while after the game. The city was looking nice!
Finally, Jimmy and Sarah are back together again and fighting vehicle fraud in southwest PA.
The Cathedral of Learning had all of these funky lights on it for some reason.
Oooh, Heinz Chapel.
Heh, this was at the thrift store and it was the lamest loving game ever. It used like a Monopoly board and the various spaces had things like, "let's talk about a time where one of us was upset and we worked through it using good communication skills."
For those times where a really great game will just not cut it.
