Harlem

Well, the election day was fun and all but the real highlight of this week was that I finished this complicated puzzle in two days.

I missed the calling of the votes but did manage to get up to Harlem (125th St., the Apollo) to hear the acceptance speech. And I believe the governor was there as well, but it was so packed I couldn't see. And no, I was not right behind Bozo the Clown.

It was amazingly crowded. People were pouring into the streets so that the buses had to squeeze through.

This is the most use that phone booth has gotten since 2003.

Riding on cars like they just don't care.

This is my new election friend Mitch. We tried to find a bar in the area and finally just had to ask a police officer. He recommended the Lenox Lounge but on the way there we managed to find another one.

The flight home on Tuesday was very pleasant. But what are those white things in the water? I couldn't figure it out. They weren't moving.

Queeeens.

Oooh, my DC friend Paul's IntelliScanner made it into the SkyMall catalog! Hooray for Paul!
