Chipotle
You know what I think is funny? When I tell customers to enjoy the show and they automatically respond "you too", which is impossible since I am obviously not going to be watching the feature presentation. Then they get all embarrassed because they realized that it doesn't make sense but by that time they're usually already moving. Ahh, so awkward.
Note to all: Good Luck Chuck is really lame. If you're looking for juvenile humor, try Superbad.
Somewhat bitter congratulations to Erin for winning at HUB Bingo Friday night. She was on a roll! Not only did wonderful career opportunities open up, she won a DVD of Meet Joe Black. Could the day get any better? She should have bought a lottery ticket.
Oh, but non-bitter congratulations to myself for making dinner! For five! I made fettuccine with the option of either alfredo or pesto, along with garlic bread and green beans that I can't take credit for since Pat is truly the bean master. For dessert Travis prepared vanilla ice cream with these cookies that he had bought at the Farmer's Market earlier that day that were just wild - chocolate gingerbread with ... chipotle. What?!?! I had been hesitant to try them when the vendor offered a free sample, but I had to be polite at dinner and thank god for my manners because this cookie was incredible. At first, it just tasted like gingerbread, which is all well and good, but then in a subtle manner it became more and more spicy without being painful. The cookie lady recommended red wine with it and after a sip the chipotle flavor went like POW in your mouth. So great! I don't think they have a web page but here's a write-up in the Collegian about the Market and they're mentioned about halfway down.
