Update

Erin just figured out what the mystery food object was in the display case out of Pollock Commons. While I was guessing things like 'banana', she immediately identified it as 'bacon'. Wow! Way to go! I'm glad that State College has its very own Nancy Drew.

But now it leads to more questions like 'who put bacon inside of a display case?' and 'why hasn't anyone taken it out by now?'.
